These terms govern your use of the Kalk Bay Blinds website and any enquiry you submit through it. By using this site you accept these terms.

1. About this website

Kalk Bay Blinds provides made-to-measure window furnishing services — blinds, awnings, shutters, screens and motorised shading — to homes in Kalk Bay and surrounding areas. Enquiries submitted here are handled by the consultants and installation teams who carry out the work.

2. Enquiries are not contracts

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract, a booking, or an obligation on either side. It is a request for a consultant to contact you and arrange a free in-home measure.

3. Quotes and pricing

• Any pricing guidance on this website is indicative only and does not constitute a quotation.
• A binding quotation is issued in writing after an in-home measure, and is itemised per window.
• Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation document.
• Final pricing depends on measurements taken on site, the products and fabrics selected, and installation requirements observed at the property.

4. Measurements and installation

All products are manufactured to measurements taken by our consultant at your property. Because every item is made to order for your specific openings, orders confirmed in writing cannot be cancelled or altered once manufacturing has commenced, except as provided by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

5. Lead times

Lead times are stated on your written quotation and are estimates based on manufacturing schedules at the time of quoting. We will inform you if a lead time changes materially.

6. Website content

Content on this site is provided for general information. Product descriptions, illustrations and photographs are indicative; fabric colours and textures may appear differently on screen than in person, which is why physical samples are brought to every consultation.

7. Intellectual property

The design, text, illustrations and layout of this website belong to the operator of Kalk Bay Blinds and may not be reproduced without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
